Hemplands CL is located on a 190 acre sheep and arable farm which is run by John & Nessie Carson. Please see our Contact page for a map and directions.
The site is a half acre lawned, part sloping, fenced field to the back of the farmhouse. There is free WiFi, drinking water and a chemical disposal point. An electric hookup is provided at each pitch. Television reception is good as is the signal for mobiles.
We welcome dogs and walking/exercising facilities are available.
The charge per day is £18 per pitch.
We are very flexible with arrival and departure times so please ask if they differ from the following:

We provide a comprehensive information pack for our guests to use while they are here. This includes a parking disc, over 30 guides to visitor attactions and an essential guide to local services and points of interest including those we hope you will not need like dentists, doctors, vets, surgeries and hospitals.
Hemplands Farm is a short drive from the A709 on a single track road. This quiet road gives access for cycling and walking routes that avoid the busier roads.
As you will see from the pictures on our web site, the views from Hemplands and the surrounding area are superb.

New Abbey, Castle Douglas, Kirkcudbright, Thornhill, Lockerbie and Moffat.

Jubilee Path from Rockcliffe to Kippford, Galloway Forest Park, local quiet roads and tracks.
