Directions:
From South Leave M74 at J18. From North leave leave M74 at J17. Follow B7076 to A709 (sp Dumfries-Lochmaben) Follow A709 through Lochmaben and continue to Torthorwald village. Continue through village to past bus stop on your left and take next right signposted Tinwald, Amisfield. In about 1 mile turn on to farm road.

From Dumfries: Turn right off A75 (Annan – Crocketford) onto A709 (Lochmaben, Lockerbie). In 2.25 miles turn left opposite castle ruin (signposted Tinwald, Amisfield). In about 1 mile turn left into farm road.
